    This page will outline the Calculus Differentiation tools we obtained in Stewart's Math Class
    Before we learnt the differentiation methods, we learnt how to calculate the derivative using first principles.
    In fact it wouldn't even make sense if we didn'nt have first principles to toy with.
    First Principles
    The first principles is strenuous because it just takes too long to do all the calculations, but we are applying
    our knowledge of slope to find the derivative. Well, as we know the derivative of a function is the slope.
    f'(x) = lim f(x+h) - f(x)
    h->0 h
    Let us find the derivative of a simple function say, f(x) = 2x^2
    f'(x) = lim 2(x+h)^2 - 2x^2
    h->0 h
    = lim (2x^2 + 4xh + 2h^2) - 2x^2
    h->0 h
    = lim (4xh + 2h^2)
    h->0 h
    = lim h(4x + 2h) (Guess what? You can cancel out the h! Then the limit goes away since h can be 0)
    h->0 h
    = 4x
    Power Rule
    The power rule is the most simplistic differentiation rule of calculus and it a tool we look forward to use
    (don't deny it!)
    Let's say you have a function, f(x) = 2x^n. When we take the derivative of this function, the exponent, n,
    will drop down to the coefficient side, which is beside 2, and the exponent will decrease by 1.
    f'(x) = (n)x(2)x^(n-1)
    Sound easy?
    Sum Rule

    The sum rule is distributive so the whole term is differentiated.
    Now here we have an example with the power and sum rule integrated into one problem.
    Calculate the derivative of the polynomial P(x) = 8x5 - 3x3 + 2x2 - 5
